Week 4: Understand the Word

In this fourth session of Hear & Obey, we explore how to faithfully understand Scripture through observation and interpretation. We learn practical tools for studying the Bible, including examining context, recognizing literary genres, identifying key words and themes, and tracing an author’s argument. Our goal is to become careful readers of God’s Word, seeking to understand what the biblical authors intended to communicate before applying it to our lives.
